The air conditioning / heating units are controlled with the remote control. Please allow 15 minutes to achieve the desired temperature.

Our Barbecue area is located near the pool. Contact reception for operating instructions and utensils. The BBQ area is available from 8AM-9PM.

Due to NSW Fire Regulations there is to be no cooking in the accommodation rooms.

PET FRIENDLY ROOMS

Please ensure that your pets are always on a leash when they are in the public areas of the property.  No pets are to be left unattended in the accommodation rooms and a skip bin is located on the left-hand side of reception to dispose of your pets presents.

DINING OPTIONS

For dining in your room, Doordash is your best option for delivery.  The Settlers Inn Hotel is located right next door and is open for lunch and dinner.

EMERGENCIES

In the event of the fire alarm sounding. Please proceed quickly and calmly to the nearest exit and assemble in the car park as indicated on the evacuation chart.

Macquarie Barracks has a late check-in procedure, please contact the motel directly if you are arriving outside of Reception hours.

SUPERMARKET AND LIQUOR STORE

Woolworths supermarket and a liquor store is located at Settlement City shopping centre located in Bay Street, approximately a ten-minute walk from the motel.

PHARMACY

There are several pharmacies located close to the motel. Please confirm with Reception for location and opening hours.

LAUNDRY

A guest laundry with a washing machine and dryer is available for use and is located on the ground floor next to the pool.   There is a clothesline located behind the pool for use. Washing powder can be purchased from reception.

PARKING

There is no allocated parking space for your room however there is one car space available for each room. There is ample street parking at the front of the property. There is no room on property for trailers, caravans, camper trailers or boats.

SMOKING AND VAPING

Please note that smoking and vaping is not permitted in accommodation rooms and entrances, reception, or pool area.  Ashtrays are provided on your balcony/courtyard.  There are 2 designated smoking areas within the public areas of the Motor Inn.

SWIMMING POOL

The Swimming pool is open between 7am until 9pm each day. Children must be supervised at all times. The pool area is closed outside of these times. Please always be mindful of your noise levels as there are rooms adjacent to the pool area. The pool area is strictly a glass and smoke free area.
